April Caregiver Lunch & Learn

Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board and Avon Maitland District School Board, in partnership with local community agencies, are pleased to facilitate conversations about mental health and well-being among caregivers and their children. This monthly caregiver lunch & learn series introduces common mental health challenges that children and youth are facing as well as strategies that can be implemented by caregivers at home or in the community to support their children.

This month join Huron Perth Centre as they guide caregivers through Unger’s “9 Things All Young People Need” to help kids grow strong and handle life's challenges better. Caregivers will learn how to foster a sense of belonging, a positive outlook, and meaningful goals in their child. By focusing on these areas, caregivers can help children become more resilient and better equipped to navigate life's ups and downs.

Following registration, participants will be provided with a Microsoft Teams link to join
the session virtually.
